Our interactive trades courses provide opportunities to learn about carpentry and welding, and how to apply the skills in a professional setting. These hands-on courses provide an opportunity to learn about OSHA, and important safety procedures,  as well as practice proper tools handling and safety protocols. In addition, our courses include instruction on specialized craftsmen skills, mathematics, and problem-solving, all of which play an important role in many trades disciplines.

After completion of these courses, students should be prepared to pass the following CTE Certification exams: Home Builders Institute (HBI) - Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training (PACT) Core, National Occupational Competency Training Institute (NOTCI) - Welding, NOCTI - Carpentry, National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) - Carpentry Lvl 1.
