Dissection add-on
VictoryXR and Carolina Biological created the world's first virtual reality specimen dissection library.
- Five specimens: Frog, pig, dogfish shark, sea star and squid.
- Step-by-step guidance: A national award-winning science teacher, recreated as a hologram, leads each dissection.
- True to life: Specimens are modeled in fine detail and look as they would in a real classroom dissection.
- A real alternative: A substitute for physical specimens that science teachers can feel good about.
What's in VXRLabs
VXRLabs is a multiplayer VR learning platform with 250+ labs and simulations. Students can learn together as a class or on their own, in a headset or in desktop mode on a computer.
- Science labs: Chemistry and biology labs, including a chemistry lab that would cost more than $100,000 to build in real life.
- Cadaver lab: Explore the human body system by system (muscular, nervous, digestive, circulatory and more), with an AI assistant that answers questions on the spot.
- Virtual field trips: 170+ 360° field trips and job-shadowing videos, from the Great Wall and Iceland to the Redwood forests and Normandy Beach.
- History: Abraham Lincoln's log cabin, the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Luxor Temple and the Avenue of Sphinxes, the Berlin Wall and hundreds more locations.
- English and literature: Gamified explorations of To Kill a Mockingbird, The Great Gatsby and more.
- CSI and forensics: Crime scene investigations that students work through together.
- Business and workforce skills: Sam Walton's story, Thomas Edison's Menlo Park lab, a supply chain logistics simulation, an AI negotiator and fire safety training.
- Creator Spaces: 50+ environments, from a rainforest to an open sandbox, and thousands of 3D models (atoms, organs, dinosaurs, equipment, artifacts) that students use to build their own worlds.
- Customizable AI tutors: Build AI lessons and conversations, such as a job interview, conflict resolution or a sales pitch, and open them right in the headset. Want them in a web browser too? That's HoloTutor.
- HVAC training: AI lessons and VR simulations on HVAC safety, PPE and OSHA standards, refrigerant basics and recovery, charging and leak detection. Good preparation for EPA Section 608 certification.
- Career and technical education: Welding, carpentry, drones, robotics, nursing and medical assisting, agriscience and vet tech, available with the CTE add-on.
Works on
VXRLabs: Meta Quest 2, 3, 3S and Pro, Pico and Lenovo VRX headsets, PC VR headsets, and desktop mode on Windows and Mac. See full compatibility.
